ROBYN’S SEWING CLUB…

Robyn Curd (nee Curtis) from Bernina – Tauranga Sewing Centre who as been teaching Bernina sewing club for 25yrs, will be running this club in 2012 at Tirau Quilt Cottage starting Feb for 2 hrs every month. (One Tuesday per month  9.15am – 11.15am). Come along for learning and fun. Not just for Bernina owners, open to everyone -   A $80 fee for the year and you will receive booklets and handouts and you will not only have fun but will learn so much from one of the best. Refreshments included.

COTTAGE QUILTERS.

We are a small group of quilters who meet in the Tirau Quilt Cottage workshop on the 1st Tuesday of every month – between 10am – 4pm. This is an informal group who bring along their own work to do, either by hand or with their own machine. Please feel free to join us. We are nice, friendly and we’d love you to join us.

SUPERSTARS  with Anna  Williams

This 2 day class -  Sat 24th  & Sun  25th March 2012.  

Class fee $90 – (morning/afternoon tea included)

To make a unique quilt block approx 20” square (50cms) which is the first block of a larger project, cushion cover or small wall hanging.

This is a fun class where many techniques will be learnt to make the first individual star block with the added zing of a celtic pattern to make the star design really stand out. Making a zig zag border to fit any size edge will also be taught.

 A class sample is in-store along with another beautiful wall quilt that shows you what the technique can lead to.
